About the position
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will oversee multiple complex projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and project management skills, as you will collaborate with IT Application teams and Business functional teams to meet project goals within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage standard project deliverables, schedules, and budgets for technology projects.
- Manage a portfolio of projects that may follow waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies.
- Perform scrum master duties as required, facilitating sprints and agile practices.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to technical staff, stakeholders, and business executives.
- Schedule and lead recurring internal and client-facing meetings to review project goals and status.
- Build strong relationships with business and technology leaders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Collect and report value metrics to enable informed decision-making across enterprise projects and programs.
- Identify, track, escalate, and resolve project issues and risks.
- Quickly learn and apply new technical concepts to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of experience managing projects within a technology organization.
- Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organization and leadership skills.
- Proven track record of managing project deliverables, resources, schedules, budgets, risks, and issues.
