About the position

The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing various initiatives and projects that vary in size, complexity, duration, and risk factors. This position is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet the quality standards expected by the organization. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing project teams, guiding them through the project lifecycle, and ensuring that all deliverables are met according to the established timelines. In this role, the IT Project Manager will ensure that all team members are well-informed about project milestones and deliverables, fostering a collaborative environment. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders is essential, as it will facilitate smoother project execution and help in managing expectations. The Project Manager will also be tasked with managing the scope of projects, addressing any issues that may arise, and implementing effective communication plans to keep all parties informed. Additionally, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining project documentation and metrics as per the Ferguson Project Methodology. Leading the project team effectively is crucial, as is maintaining team morale and motivation. The role also involves managing risk levels and budget reporting, ensuring that projects stay within financial constraints. A detailed project schedule will need to be developed and maintained, along with regular communications to keep stakeholders updated on progress and any changes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful completion of assigned projects
  • Ensure that project team members are aware of project milestones and deliverables

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and communications

Requirements

  • Experience in a team lead or mentor/coach role
  • Experience with blended waterfall/agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience with applications development and deployment in a cloud environment
  • Experience with delivering large scale ERP solutions
