About the position

DHL Group, the logistics provider of the world, is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team in Plantation, FL. This role is pivotal in leading and managing IT initiatives from the initial concept through to final implementation. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for collaborating with business partners and colleagues to gather business requirements, define project scope and objectives, and develop detailed work plans, schedules, and resource plans. The position requires a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail, ensuring that all project components are managed effectively throughout the systems project implementation life cycle. The IT Project Manager will oversee various aspects of IT initiatives, including project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, communications, and risk management. This role involves providing technical and analytical support, communicating project status regularly to the project team, and managing risks associated with IT applications. The successful candidate will utilize Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Planner, and Power BI to manage projects efficiently. Additionally, the role includes conducting security and risk assessments, ensuring product compliance, and performing self-audit processes and annual compliance checks. Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as PMP or SCRUM Master. Familiarity with IT frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, and ISO 27000 is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in an IT environment, demonstrating strong leadership, collaboration, and customer service skills. Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of IT initiatives from product idea to business requirements gathering.
• Define project scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans.
• Manage program and/or project components including project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, communications, and risk.
• Provide technical and analytical support and communicate project status to the project team regularly.
• Conduct security and risk assessments, product maintenance, and ensure product compliance.
• Manage projects following Agile methodology using tools like Jira, Planner, and Power BI.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an IT environment and IT project/program management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or SCRUM Master/Agile/SaFe certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27000 is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and reporting tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with OneTrust, ServiceNow, GEAR, Jira, Power BI, and SPO preferred.
