About the position

The Project Manager - IT position at Amentum involves overseeing the complete life-cycle of Information Technology projects in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office. The role requires close collaboration with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) to provide programmatic and engineering support services, ensuring that project requirements are met through effective planning, resource acquisition, and strategic implementation of technological solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manages, coordinates, and establishes priorities for the complete life-cycle of IT projects.
• Determines project needs and acquires necessary resources for project success.
• Designs project plans identifying needs and defining major tasks and milestones.
• Directs technological research by studying organizational goals and user projects.
• Recommends IT strategies, policies, and procedures based on evaluations of outcomes and trends.
• Defines, delivers, and supports strategic plans for implementing technological solutions.
• Conducts financial and budgetary analysis to assess project worth.
• Selects project team members and assigns tasks and responsibilities.
• Provides direction and technical guidance to project team members.
• Plans, initiates, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline.
• 1-10+ years of experience in IT project management.
• Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance.
