The IT Project Manager at Tommy Bahama is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing technical projects within the Information Technology organization. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that all project health and status metrics are accurately tracked and communicated to stakeholders. Building and managing relationships with cross-functional departments, external agencies, and vendors is crucial for the success of the projects. The IT Project Manager will also coordinate the procurement of necessary equipment for technical projects and manage the implementation of technology at new store locations, including voice, data, and network equipment. Additionally, the IT Project Manager will prepare detailed reports and briefings on project status, progress, and any changes to scope, schedule, or budget. Analyzing project trends and escalating issues as needed to keep projects on track is also a key responsibility.
