About the position

The Construction Project Manager IV at AECOM is responsible for managing a high-profile, complex multi-year construction project embedded at the project site in Tok, Alaska. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the project from inception to completion, ensuring it meets specified objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage project teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a singular high-profile complex multi-year project embedded at the project site.
  • Oversee overall planning, coordination, and control of the project from inception to completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in the field, collaborating with the Owner's project team and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver revenues assigned from specific clients and maintain profit margins without write-downs.
  • Build and support collaborative project teams and direct field and office staff assigned to the project.
  • Provide comprehensive construction management support services and owner's representation.
  • Conduct constructability reviews, manage submittal processing, and provide quality assurance.
  • Track project status and quality compliance, providing reports relative to schedule and cost control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Proven experience performing and supporting the successful completion of similar projects in comparable environments and conditions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Engineering Certification, License or Architectural Registration.
  • Federal (or state/municipal) governmental experience.
  • Experience with Land Port of Entry (LPOE) or similar facilities.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices, and procedures.
