About the position

The Project Manager for Target's Owned Brands is responsible for driving all phases of product creation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and guest expectations. This role involves managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to deliver high-quality products efficiently. The Project Manager will also analyze project outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in future projects.

Responsibilities

  • Drive all phases of Owned Brand product creation from kick-off through hind-sighting.
  • Establish optimal product and packaging approaches to meet partner and guest expectations.
  • Create and own End to End Timing & Action (T&A) to support integrated project and packaging processes.
  • Coordinate tasks outlined in project plans and oversee T&A activities.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in future T&A's using analytics and reporting.
  • Establish a single source of truth T&A that outlines owners, actions, and timing for all activities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and ensure compliance from project kick-off through results analysis.
  • Identify and mitigate risks by anticipating potential roadblocks and escalating issues as needed.
  • Develop a communication and escalation plan for project teams and leaders.
  • Conduct post-launch evaluations to enhance future project plans.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of Project Management experience or structured project coordination experience.
  • Project Management Certificate, PMP Certification, or Agile training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable communicating with all levels including senior leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High sense of urgency, initiative, and proactive planning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage relationships with key business partners.
