About the position

The Project Manager for Land Development at LJA Engineering is responsible for overseeing and coordinating engineering projects that are complex and significant to the company's operations. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of engineers and designers, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet client expectations. The position emphasizes the importance of communication and relationship-building with clients and other consultants.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct large engineering projects or several smaller projects with complex features.
• Lead a team of Engineers In Training (EITs), designers, and CAD draftsmen to produce construction plans, exhibits, reports, and tables as required by clients.
• Manage daily operations and deliverables for the development of single-family residential and commercial projects.
• Analyze project scope, client's RFP, and firm's proposal to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Organize work on projects and establish procedures for accomplishing project objectives.
• Utilize advanced techniques and practices in civil engineering and related disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• 6+ years of land development experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships
