About the position

Last Energy is seeking a highly skilled project manager or engineering professional to lead and expedite the activities of our international and cross-functional Licensing team. This role is crucial for driving the progress of international micro-nuclear power projects, focusing on facilitating safety case development and other licensing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Project manage a cross-functional team of 5-10 experts, overseeing the efficient delivery of documentation on an expedited schedule.
• Track technical communication deliverables tailored for stringent global licensing authorities.
• Act as the main point of contact for external analysis resources, managing budgets and schedules for independent 3rd party verification firms.
• Continuously advocate for clear and effective communication within internal teams, fostering a culture of simplicity and alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in project management, process safety, hazard analysis, or a relevant field.
• Strong leadership and project management experience, successfully leading cross-functional teams to meet ambitious targets.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Comfortable adapting communication style to diverse global audiences.
• Prior experience in the energy sector or other highly regulated industries is a big plus.
