About the position
The Project Manager for Life Science Commercial at Cognizant will oversee high-impact initiatives within the Data, Digital & Technology team, focusing on risk management, dependencies, and decision-making processes. This role requires proactive facilitation of meetings to identify solutions for risk mitigation and enhance cross-business unit communication. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in large-scale data and IT program management within the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring business continuity and effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage risks, dependencies, and decisions across high-impact initiatives.
- Facilitate meetings to identify solutions for risk mitigation.
- Improve cross-business unit communication and clarity.
- Supervise and manage impediments and decisions using project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Facilitate large weekly PMO meetings and leadership workshops.
Requirements
- 12-13 years of experience in the life science pharma industry.
- Proven competencies in innovation, strategic thinking, and agile methodologies.
- Extensive experience in collaborator alignment and analysis of business needs.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise and manage risks and dependencies.
