About the position

The position is for a Project Manager at a top-ranked ENR Contractor in Philadelphia, responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, particularly in the Life Science sector. The role involves project planning, financial oversight, risk management, quality control, and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting industry standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring clear communication of tasks and milestones to the project team.
  • Manage project budgets and financial resources, ensuring delivery within approved budgets and providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, managing project risks proactively.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders, addressing concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the Life Science sector within the Construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies, with familiarity in relevant regulations and standards in the Life Science industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
