About the position

The Project Manager at Digital Dreams will oversee the planning, execution, and closure of low voltage projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications. This role involves coordinating with clients, field technicians, and internal teams to maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each project, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Work closely with the operations team to allocate resources effectively, including field technicians, tools, and materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout each project, providing regular updates on progress, addressing any concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Identify potential risks to project timelines, budgets, or quality standards and implement proactive solutions to mitigate them.
  • Conduct on-site visits as needed to oversee project progress, ensure compliance with standards, and address any issues.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including budgets, schedules, and client communications, and prepare regular progress reports for internal and client review.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, complies with regulatory requirements, and fulfills client expectations.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the enhancement of Digital Dreams project management processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience, ideally within the low voltage, AV, or telecommunications industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage systems, AV, security, and networking technologies.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) and CRM systems like NetSuite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep track of timelines and deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
  • Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing practical solutions.
  • Flexibility to handle occasional travel for on-site visits and the ability to manage after-hours calls if required.
