The Project Manager - Management Consulting role at BASF involves leading consulting teams to deliver impactful recommendations and sustainable solutions to senior management across various business functions. The role requires engaging with internal stakeholders and managing transformational initiatives with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting teams consisting of 1-5 consultants in regional and global projects.
  • Define and manage transformational initiatives.
  • Assess and implement primary growth initiatives.
  • Derive go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop business models and calculate business cases.
  • Lead integration efforts for acquisitions and support divestments.
  • Exhibit digitization capabilities within projects and develop sustainable digital solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm or in-house consulting team.
  • Experience managing strategic projects with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience communicating to leadership teams.
  • Analytic experience deriving insights using data from multiple sources.
  • Experience in state-of-the-art pricing, marketing and sales concepts, optimizing organizational structures, change management, strategy implementation, and digital business models.
