About the position

As the Project Manager - Marketing & Graphics for Eataly North America, you will lead a small team of graphic designers to fulfill the graphic needs for all Eataly locations in the US and Canada. This role involves managing team workloads, strategizing for growth, and coaching team members. You will ensure effective communication between internal and external partners while overseeing the graphic design pipeline to guarantee timely and budget-friendly project delivery, maintaining brand consistency throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Support project intake and assignment process from internal partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure that all projects are appropriately documented and actively tracked in the project management system.
  • Act as the point person throughout the creative task life cycle, providing status updates and sharing documents.
  • Traffic assets and deliverables across multiple departments and internal stakeholders, securing approvals.
  • Forecast creative resourcing based on incoming requests and upcoming projects.
  • Partner with marketing/creative leadership to document project prioritization.
  • Support the development of timelines and ensure they are tracked in the project management system.
  • Monitor timelines to ensure on-deadline delivery and address any concerns that may delay the project.
  • Facilitate regular postmortems to ensure continuous improvement for creative team throughput and efficiency.
  • Manage communication with creative vendors, placing orders, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • File vendor invoices and enter totals in the budget tracker.
  • Support marketing & creative leadership in reporting on financial status of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in design, focusing on both print and digital media; experience in retail or food industries is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.) and familiarity with web design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
