About the position

The Project Manager for Mechanical Integrity at Energy Transfer will oversee the Fixed Equipment Mechanical Integrity program, ensuring the integrity of pressure equipment across processing, treating, and blending locations. This role involves systematic reviews and assessments of piping systems and pressure equipment, compliance with industry standards, and collaboration with various teams to maintain safe operations. Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of fixed pressure equipment within Energy Transfer.
• Conduct systematic reviews and assessments of piping systems and pressure equipment.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, industry codes, and company standards.
• Review and audit pressure vessel fabrication shops for quality control.
• Collaborate with corrosion and materials groups to establish inspection schedules and monitor equipment condition.
• Communicate inspection schedules and coordinate activities with Operations and Maintenance staff.
• Participate in audits and regulatory inspections (EPA, OSHA).
• Formulate inspection plans in accordance with company standards.
• Manage inspection data and oversee NDE and inspection activities.
• Respond to unplanned events and develop recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum eight (8) years of API inspection related experience in plant process equipment.
• Current API 510 and API 570 certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID).
• Knowledge of mid-stream process standards and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Formal training in Shield corrosion monitoring program.
• API RP 580 certification.
• Current API 653 certification.
• Familiarity with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Autodesk.
• Knowledge of advanced NDE technologies.
