About the position

The Project Manager will lead medical device product development projects, utilizing Agile methodology and MS Project for scheduling and budgeting. This role involves overseeing cross-functional teams, managing project lifecycles, and ensuring stakeholder engagement to meet business objectives. The position is primarily onsite in Boulder, CO, with a flexible work arrangement of four days in the office and one day remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in the evaluation, development, and management of new product development projects.
• Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management, project teams, and line management.
• Manage the development and implementation process of products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams.
• Review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
• Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, assessing issues and developing resolutions to meet goals.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervene as necessary with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Gather requirements and manage requirements planning and elicitation to meet stakeholder demands.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure engagement and that end products solve business problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree
• PMP certification preferred
• 2-4+ years of experience leading medical device teams in new product development
• Proficiency in MS Project Suite for scheduling and budgeting
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Leadership experience in project management
