About the position

The IT Project Manager for Merger and Acquisition will oversee the integration and divestiture of IT technologies during acquisitions or divestitures. This role involves managing project activities, resources, and budgets while ensuring adherence to project governance and operational models. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic understanding, delivery experience, and exceptional communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT activities, resources, and budget associated with acquisitions or divestitures.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including Business Partners, Technologists, IT vendors, Business Analysts, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and scope of projects.
  • Maintain project workflow in the project governance system (Planview).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to project management life cycle guidelines.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track project progress, including scope, deliverables, and budget.
  • Manage scope change requests and coordinate with the Project Owner for further action.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Measure project performance using project management tools.
  • Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks and report to leadership as needed.
  • Prepare project status reports in coordination with PMO members.
  • Facilitate all meetings associated with project updates.
  • Assist M&A Lead in other activities as required.

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of project management work experience using PMBOK guidelines.
  • Experience managing systems migration and integration in a merger, acquisition, or divestiture context.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Project, SharePoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS in business administration or project management with 6 years working in a global manufacturing company in an FDA regulated environment.
  • ACP, SCRUM Certification, PMP, PgMP, Prince II, SAFe, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with core functions of an ERP: Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Manufacture, etc.
