About the position

The Project Manager provides project management consulting services for high-profile client accounts, focusing on achieving strategic business objectives for multiple renovation projects globally, particularly corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA. This role involves managing projects and stakeholders from initiation through completion while serving as the owner's representative, requiring an onsite presence in Atlanta up to 3-5 days a week as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process.
  • Conduct standard requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project team by providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Mentor others and share knowledge of job subject area and related fields.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence).
  • Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

Requirements

  • Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices, with the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information and a willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project; Smartsheet and Bluebeam experience is beneficial.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
