About the position

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the contract, acting as the official point of contact with the Government. The PM is authorized to commit the organization's resources as necessary to fulfill contract requirements and must possess the skills, knowledge, and experience to manage all aspects of the contract effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with the contract.
  • Ensure TRDI employees, subcontractors, and vendors comply with all contractual requirements and government regulations.
  • Act as the point of contact with the Government and make decisions regarding the contract.
  • Manage and maintain Quality Control and Safety Program according to contract requirements and regulations.
  • Accountable for managing the contract budget and reviewing processes for efficiency.
  • Schedule personnel, review and approve time cards, and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Set employee expectations, conduct reviews and counseling, and implement process improvement plans.
  • Execute Employee Performance Evaluations through the payroll system in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to safety practices and provide necessary training.
  • Analyze and maintain the contract AbilityOne Ratio requirements.
  • Complete Limitation & Accommodation Quarterly Reports for AbilityOne employees.
  • Facilitate the AbilityOne interview process and obtain necessary medical documentation.
  • Execute reports, inspections, and logs as required by the contract.
  • Provide field information and specifications for estimates on contract changes.
  • Maintain required security clearance and comply with Drug Free Workplace policy.
  • Maintain Operations Security (OPSEC) standard operations procedure.
  • Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) according to the Property Control Plan.
  • Maintain a safety and health program compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP).
  • Perform other tasks as directed by Operations.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms.
  • Ability to delegate effectively and develop team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of wage and hour laws.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • High school education or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • 10 years of relevant work and leadership experience in a multi-location environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Irrigators License preferred.
  • Herbicide Pesticide license preferred.
  • Oak Wilt Certification preferred.
  • Construction Quality Management for Contractors certificate preferred.
  • OSHA 30 hour General Industry course or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
