About the position

The Project Manager will be a key member of inTerra Innovation, Inc.'s National Operations Team, responsible for overseeing project execution in the New York and New Jersey area. This role involves managing project teams, ensuring safety and quality control, and serving as a liaison between the company and its customers. The Project Manager will also assist in business development and project estimating, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and managing reporting procedures, managing reported data and submitting data
  • Managing project safety
  • Hiring, developing and training services crews and personnel
  • Effective communication internal and external
  • Responsiveness to customer calls, emails and requests
  • Timely project submittals, technical submittals and other project submittals
  • Crew etiquette training and management
  • Crew responsiveness training and management
  • Contract and Proposal Management
  • Estimating and Budgeting
  • Cost and budget management
  • Change Order Management
  • Develop and Manage Project Controls
  • Schedule Management
  • Resource Management including labor and equipment assignments, remote lodging assignments, and materials and supplies ordering
  • Project quality control and quality assurance coordination
  • Project engineering interface
  • Risk Mitigation and Problem solving
  • Safety management on a project-by-project basis and overall
  • Project closeout - Customer Submittals and Company Submittals
  • Familiarizing with Union Contracts and Parameters
  • Tracking all payroll on a daily basis and providing summary data
  • Overtime management
  • Managing discipline as required
  • Maintaining a relationship with the current customer base
  • Providing feedback regarding operations and customer comments
  • Providing suggestions on improved customer relations on all levels
  • Managing follow up on improved customer relations

Requirements

  • 3-years minimum experience in construction, project engineering and/or project management
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • OSHA 40-hour certification - Preferred
  • Ability to routinely work in field and on heavy construction job sites
  • Highly motivated, responsible, reliable, well organized, creative, project oriented, self-starter, detail oriented
