Boyd Watterson Asset Management is seeking a Project Manager for New Product Development to oversee and manage all aspects of assigned product development activities and other initiatives as directed by the Deputy Chief Operating Officer. This role is crucial in ensuring that all processes and deliverables are completed accurately, approved properly, and executed in a timely manner. The complexity of the products necessitates a dedicated individual who can facilitate teamwork and leverage the specific skills of each team member to design and maintain deliverables effectively. The Project Manager will be responsible for understanding the intricate needs of each product, which requires a high level of organization, process improvement, and communication skills, along with a solid grasp of structure, portfolio modeling, financial statements, and client reporting. In this position, the Project Manager will monitor and control project schedules, quality, and risks, including budget and financial expense tracking. They will develop both long and short-range project objectives and assist experienced team members in managing project scheduling or budgeting changes. The role also involves recommending changes to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and reduce costs. The Project Manager will coordinate and assist with related calls and meetings, maintain relationships with external vendors and stakeholders, and supervise project resources. Additionally, they will respond to inquiries regarding all assigned projects and maintain comprehensive documentation of project tasks and deliverables. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with the Deputy Chief Operating Officer to coordinate the review and launch of new products, monitor new product launches, and provide reporting to various committees. They will work alongside Portfolio Managers and Business Leads to understand product launch needs and assist with product research. Furthermore, the role requires close collaboration with the legal department to understand product structures, maintain organizational documents, and assist with compliance tasks as assigned. The Project Manager will also manage relationships with external parties involved in the development and management of products and processes, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
