Responsibilities

• Develop project estimates for flooring and countertop projects.
• Review blueprints, plans, and specifications to prepare detailed estimates.
• Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs.
• Prepare written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers.
• Attend pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Utilize estimating software and CAD for project assessments.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in estimating construction and drafting for commercial projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to problem solve and make effective decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with good time management skills.
• Above average written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with estimating software preferred.
• CAD experience preferred.
