About the position

The Project Manager Non Technical role at Fidelity Information Services involves managing division and team projects to implement corporate standard tools and processes, supporting business initiatives critical to revenue growth and expense reduction, and ensuring adherence to defined standards and policies. This position is integral to the B2B and Money Movement team, which focuses on delivering payment and money movement solutions to various clients. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate activities among various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage division and/or team projects to implement corporate standard tools and processes.
  • Support division and team business initiatives critical to driving revenue growth and expense reduction.
  • Assess, inventory and enforce division and team adherence to defined standards and policies.
  • Manage ongoing deliverables for the benefit of the division, including executive dashboard reporting and monthly KPI reporting.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of non-technical projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Manage project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations and client needs.
  • Ensure requirements for internal projects align to operational standards.
  • Develop project plans, scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Identify needed resources for projects and define major project roles.
  • Coordinate activities among project team members and other internal departments.
  • Assign and monitor work of project team, providing analytical support and direction.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and activity progress to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Serve as liaison between internal organizations and client/vendor organizations.
  • Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to business groups.
  • Conduct project closure activities and complete post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of industry project management best practices, such as PMBOK.
  • Knowledge of standards relevant to the financial services industry, e.g., ISO, Six Sigma.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with executive-level clients.
  • Ability to set clear expectations and manage team performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
  • Experience in retail or business environments, or banking and back office operations.
  • Advanced skill in project management software, e.g., MS Project.
