About the position

As a Project Manager at Core & Main, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various project timelines and schedules, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed smoothly from inception to completion. Your ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining clear communication across both internal and external teams will be essential. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving potential scheduling conflicts and operational roadblocks, ensuring that all stakeholders, including leadership, are kept informed throughout the project lifecycle. Your innovative problem-solving skills will be key in finding effective solutions to challenges that arise during project execution. In this position, you will coordinate resources and personnel to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with various teams, including contractors and municipalities, to facilitate collaboration and ensure that project goals are met. Your role will also involve monitoring project progress, adjusting plans as necessary, and providing regular updates to stakeholders. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • At least 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Experience in construction supply or industrial distribution.
  • Experience working directly with general contractors and/or municipalities.
  • Experience in the industry or in a similar industry is preferred but not required.
