About the position

The Project Manager will provide consulting services to clients, focusing on interior office construction and tenant improvements across approximately 70-80 properties in the US. This role involves managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic business objectives. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones to facilitate collaboration with the project management team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources and conduct requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team, providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule, tracking project progress and reporting status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, implementing action plans to reduce or eliminate risks.
  • Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of the job subject area and related fields.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and working to build consensus.

Requirements

  • Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices, with the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
