As we embark on a new offshore brownfield asset retirement project based out of Covington, LA, we are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will lead our offshore brownfield asset retirement project based in Covington, LA. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to monitoring and control, ensuring that project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget. In addition to the oversight of engineering deliverables (construction work packs, engineering studies, regulatory & environmental reviews, asset management plans), a key success factor for the selected candidate will be the ability to efficiently manage the flow of work to remote (workshare) offices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the offshore brownfield asset retirement project from planning through execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management including monitoring and control.
  • Ensure project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage engineering deliverables such as construction work packs and engineering studies.
  • Conduct regulatory and environmental reviews as part of project oversight.
  • Develop and implement asset management plans.
  • Efficiently manage the flow of work to remote (workshare) offices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in managing offshore projects, particularly in brownfield asset retirement.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with environmental stewardship practices in project management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the oil and gas sector.
  • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent).
