We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Scheduler to assist with the implementation and roll-out of Microsoft Project Online. The successful candidate will help coordinate various tasks and resources to achieve our goals. This is a 6-month contract position. The role involves collaborating with project managers and team members to create and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project Online. The candidate will monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes in project scope, resources, and timelines. Communication of schedule updates and potential delays to stakeholders is crucial, as well as identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues. Additionally, the candidate will prepare and present regular schedule reports and dashboards to management and project teams, assist in the development of project plans, including defining milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, and provide support to team members on how to use Microsoft Project Online effectively. Ensuring that all scheduling activities comply with company policies, procedures, and best practices is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS in engineering and/or Project management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Years of experience building complete product development schedules.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Project Online implementation or roll-out.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential.
  • Experience in a project management office (PMO) or similar structured environment.
