About the position

The Patient Access Project Manager at HealthPartners is responsible for coordinating and supporting various Patient Access projects. This role involves developing and monitoring project plans, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring that meetings and tasks are executed according to a defined project plan. The Project Manager will manage key project deliverables and assist in project analysis to identify goals, metrics, and baselines.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the Patient Access team and coordinates tasks to achieve deliverables.
  • Creates and compiles documentation for project-related meetings.
  • Produces project plans, status reporting, and project metrics.
  • Reports and investigates variances between planned and actual project performance.
  • Manages key project deliverables including build, design, and training of Care Connection.
  • Analyzes project data, dependencies, trends, and resources.
  • Facilitates Requests for Information process from Epic's EMR team.
  • Participates in simple issue-resolution analytics.
  • Researches and compiles information on requested topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare operations, project coordination or technical support.
  • Demonstrated Electronic Medical Records experience, preferably Epic systems.
  • Strong desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of project management software tools (Clarity, Microsoft Project).
  • Demonstrated established partnerships internally and externally.
  • Expertise interpreting across technical topics to business needs.
  • Ability to manage a high degree of change and be flexible.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated data analysis, data presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
