About the position

The Project Manager for People Planning Operations at Apple Retail is responsible for defining and implementing strategies that enhance both customer experience and employee satisfaction. This role involves leading projects that drive operational excellence and strategic innovation while collaborating with various teams to ensure effective adoption of these strategies across retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and influence operational strategy across Apple retail locations
• Analyze current processes and procedures to continually seek new efficiencies
• Work collaboratively with Retail Leadership and relevant partners to drive consistent store adoption of strategies
• Work with reporting team to ensure data is available, accurate and fit for purpose to identify trends in key focus areas that yield actions to improve the business
• Partner with communication and training teams to create documentation, training and other engagement materials to support strategies and store performance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a program/project management role, or equivalent in workforce management
• 3+ years working on initiatives that impact business performance
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to transition analysis into measurable projects

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years experience with workforce management operations or technology across topics such as staffing, scheduling, payroll, absence, leave and related topics
• Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of an organization, whether with a peer or senior/exec level leadership
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complexity to be easily internalized for a broad range of audiences
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Proficient in Excel/Numbers, Pages and Keynote applications
• Expert user of Mac OS X, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and Apple hardware
