About the position

Urban Air Adventure Parks is seeking a passionate and experienced Project Manager who thrives in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget. This role involves planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will work within the confines of the company's goals and vision, characterized by extensive experience and know-how in project management, along with a high level of organizational competence. In this role, the Project Manager will promote positive customer relationships to create a solid foundation for future projects and orders, with a primary focus on the project success of the company. The Project Manager will handle multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously or manage 1 to 2 larger projects that require more day-to-day involvement. Typical tasks include determining and defining project scope and objectives, predicting resources needed to reach objectives, preparing budgets based on the scope of work and resource requirements, and tracking project costs to meet budget constraints. Additionally, the Project Manager will develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, provide consistent project updates to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress, and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution is essential. The Project Manager will monitor progress, make necessary adjustments, measure project performance to identify areas for improvement, and assist the Technical Lead with the preparation of deliverables where applicable. At the end of each project, the Project Manager will conduct a Lessons Learned session with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, communicating the results to superiors and the local Quality Management representative to initiate further measures in the company's continuous improvement process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.

  • Conduct Lessons Learned sessions at the end of projects and communicate results to superiors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in managing automation and/or manufacturing IT projects.
  • Knowledge of computer systems integration project methodologies and standards.
  • Relevant project experience with manufacturing data management and automation system integration, design, and deployment.
  • Good communicator and fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient using MS Project and other MS Office software/tools.
  • Meticulous, natural leader, and autonomous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be considered favorably.
