About the position

Awning & Sign Contractors is seeking an entry-level Project Manager to oversee project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints. The role involves coordinating between various teams, maintaining communication with customers, and managing project logistics.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities between drafting, graphics, production, and installers.
• Make initial site calls to confirm restrictions and construction dates.
• Issue work orders and purchase orders as needed.
• Facilitate communication between subcontractors and the sales team.
• Maintain constant communication with customers.
• Compile survey information for accurate project drawings.
• Review production drawings for accuracy with the surveyor.
• Obtain customer approval for production drawings.
• Initiate production for approved jobs.
• Coordinate installations and deliveries.
• Track job progress and provide updates to the team.
• Secure permits as required for the job.
• Complete ten and two-day calls to confirm readiness for installation.
• Communicate with the Account Manager and customer regarding delays or issues.
• Handle after-hour phone calls and emails.
