About the position

The Project Manager in the PMO at Molina Healthcare is responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, managing organizational change, and overseeing project management activities. This role involves estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and managing issues and risks associated with projects, particularly in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master and/or Project Manager for agile teams.
• Lead software development teams on small to medium sized projects through the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Facilitate meetings and communications between interdepartmental team members, including development, testing, and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple small projects simultaneously.
• Develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management strategies, and assumptions.
• Identify problems and anticipate potential issues, presenting alternatives to manage or overcome obstacles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 1 PM course required.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in business, engineering, or a related field in lieu of degree acceptable.

Nice-to-haves

• Additional formal training in Project Management preferred.
• PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification desired.
