About the position

The Project Manager for the PMO at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is responsible for overseeing various Archdiocesan projects, particularly those focused on financial initiatives. This role involves direct collaboration with the Treasurer and indirect interaction with C-suite executives to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The position requires strong financial acumen and project management skills, with a significant emphasis on financial analysis, policy design, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, quality, and budget of various Archdiocesan projects with a focus on financial projects.
• Plan and set goals for projects.
• Implement projects, either self-directed or in collaboration with different departments and stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress and milestone status through meetings and stakeholder engagement.
• Document project details and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or finance required; master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, tax, policy design, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in a not-for-profit or religious institution is a plus.
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively and manage projects through the full life cycle.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel pivot tables and data sharing software.
