About the position

The Project Manager, PMO at ADB Companies is responsible for overseeing multiple telecommunications projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and closeout. This role emphasizes a customer-centric approach and requires strong leadership skills to manage project lifecycles effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing telecom fiber builds and will be proficient in project tracking tools, with a focus on safety, wellness, and team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the entire Project Management lifecycle of 1-2 telecommunications projects.
  • Create project plans, manage milestones, oversee deliverables, and track progress.
  • Provide customer updates and lead the closeout process for projects.
  • Manage all project tasks, reporting requirements, and communications for assigned projects.
  • Read and interpret customer contracts and scopes of work; assist in creating project plans.
  • Act as a direct liaison between multiple leadership teams including construction management and engineering.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scopes and financials, forecasting delays and creating solutions.
  • Conduct internal and external kick-off meetings and manage weekly status calls with stakeholders.
  • Responsible for budget management and project financials, including profitability and revenue.
  • Facilitate successful project close-out processes and ensure final acceptance and billing approval with customers.
  • Support the change order process and collaborate with internal teams to present change order needs to customers.
  • Track and reconcile inventory, materials, costs, and invoicing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of end-to-end customer Project Management (PMO) experience within the Technology, Telecom, and/or Utility Construction industry.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Prior experience utilizing PMO software/tracking tools required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP Certification preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT preferred, but not required.
