About the position

The Project Manager in the PMO at Molina Healthcare is responsible for driving process improvement and managing organizational change through effective project management. This role involves overseeing software development teams, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master and/or Project Manager for agile teams.
• Lead software development teams on small to medium sized projects through the complete SDLC.
• Facilitate meetings and communications between interdepartmental team members, including development, testing, and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple small projects simultaneously.
• Develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, risk management strategies, and assumptions.
• Identify and anticipate potential problems, presenting alternatives to manage or overcome obstacles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 PM course required.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in business, engineering, or a related field in lieu of degree acceptable.

Nice-to-haves

• Additional formal training in project management preferred.
• PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification desired.
