About the position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team. This role involves planning, managing, and delivering distinct projects through all specific phases, in alignment with business and/or enterprise strategies. The Project Manager will provide leadership, direction, and coaching to teams while partnering with business, technology, and executive stakeholders to deliver new capabilities and features to the client's environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages projects with moderate regulatory oversight, with management direction/executive oversight provided as necessary.
• Leads the end-to-end delivery of projects, including release planning, ranging from $500K to $10Million with varying complexity profiles.
• May indirectly manage a cross-LoB Project team consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs and Technology Resources where applicable to the project.
• May manage a number of small projects at any given time, with project durations generally ranging from short to medium term.
• Coordinates projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Drives estimation, planning, delivery strategy, execution, technical partner interaction, dependency management, environment planning/support, and scrum team escalations.
• Ensures all project dependencies, risks, and issues are identified and managed effectively.
• Executes project management deliverables within budget, working with staff and business and technology partners to develop content of those deliverables.
• Controls change to project scope and presents proposals, reports, and findings to stakeholders.
• Manages project financials, completes Clarity updates, and status reporting including technology financial forecasts for accruals.
• Prepares project documentation and publishes it to stakeholders and the project team.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager within the Financial Industry
• Experience managing projects in the digital channel/online banking space
• Experience managing budgets up to $2 Million with project durations of 6-12 months
• Strong experience in risk management and budget management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience working with high-level stakeholders and presenting to executive teams
• Ability to work independently, manage one's time, and be a self-starter
• Proficiency in business software tools such as MS Office Suite, MS PowerPoint, MS Project
• Experience managing projects using Agile Project Management methodologies
• Ability to build a plan, identify dependencies, and manage the plan
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Agile experience
