As a Project Manager, you will create and implement project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for one or more medium-sized projects of low to moderate complexity. You will prepare detailed statements of work and gain concurrence and approval from stakeholders regarding various project aspects, adjusting accordingly as needed. Your role will involve participating in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures, as well as assisting in the staffing of projects. You will organize project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives. Managing costs, schedules, and quality will be a key part of your responsibilities as you oversee project deliverables, ensuring that schedules and budgets are met. You will perform ongoing reviews of project status, identifying possible project risks and recommending and implementing risk mitigation solutions as approved and appropriate. Working in conjunction with team members and stakeholders, you will manage changes to technical requirements, business requirements, and the project schedule, providing input on possible changes needed based on current project status. Your role will also involve managing client, company, and project team expectations for agreed-upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics. You will recommend changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metrics, oversee assigned personnel for projects, assign work, and provide direction regarding the timeliness and completion of project objectives. Addressing performance issues within prescribed guidelines and providing performance input upon completion of the project will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 years of related IT Project Management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Top Secret/SCI security clearance
