About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager for Product Development and Implementation for our client in the Pharmaceuticals Industry. This is a 6-month Contract to Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will support the solution development life cycle of our technology solutions, balancing process rigor with the dynamic nature of a quickly growing product that requires flexibility. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the product life cycle of a suite of technology-based solutions, which includes collaboration with product management, engineering, and implementation teams. The role involves working with internal and client stakeholders to provide project management for paid development projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility. A detailed project plan will be developed to monitor and track progress for product enhancements, regular releases, and client implementations. The Project Manager will also manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, using appropriate verification techniques, and will measure project performance using suitable tools and techniques. Reporting and escalation to management will be necessary as needed, along with performing risk management to minimize project risks and creating comprehensive project documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project manager responsible for supporting the product life cycle of a suite of technology-based solutions.
  • Work with internal and client stakeholders to provide project management for paid development projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, identifying when projects are at risk.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress for product enhancements, regular releases, and client implementations.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager in a related field required, with product implementation and/or development preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or project management experience with certification required.
  • Detail and process-oriented with strong organization, multi-tasking, and tracking skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill set in Microsoft Office, including high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Project or equivalent project application suite.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or Hybrid environments.
  • Positive and team-oriented attitude and approach to getting work done.
  • Ability to manage several similar projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare experience, specifically pharmaceutical (pharmacy/PBM), preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience using Smartsheet project and work management platform a plus.
