About the position

Capgemini is seeking a Product Owner to join our dynamic team, focusing on the next generation of enablement user experience, features, and integrations, particularly in the realm of data cloud platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining partner needs, product vision, and strategy, as well as creating and communicating the product roadmap. This role encompasses release planning, requirements gathering, and functional specification, all the way through to product adoption and success. The Product Owner will translate product strategy into detailed requirements and write user stories with clear acceptance criteria. In collaboration with the ingestion framework team, the Product Owner will develop quick demos and create documentation for in-house frameworks that facilitate source ingestion to the Nebula platform. They will also track improvement requests to enhance business unit adoption. Leading the product backlog and sprint priorities, the Product Owner will craft user stories and define the Definition of Done. Close collaboration with development, QA, user experience, documentation, and other product teams is essential to execute the Learning product strategy effectively. The role requires leveraging market analysis, driven knowledge, and customer research to define a comprehensive product roadmap. Engaging directly with team members is crucial to ensure that the product aligns with their desired business outcomes. Continuous measurement and supervision of usage metrics will drive customer adoption and product improvements. The Product Owner will act as a champion for the product, promoting and evangelizing new features, and will be responsible for building compelling demos for both internal and external stakeholders. A background in data analytics, Gen AI, and ML is highly desirable, as is the ability to foster relationships with other Product Managers to gain a deeper understanding of our technological capabilities, gaps, and roadmap, ultimately helping to find the best solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and write user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Work with the ingestion framework team to build quick demos and develop documentation for source ingestion to the Nebula platform.
  • Track improvement requests to enhance business unit adoption.
  • Lead product backlog and sprint priorities, crafting user stories and defining the Definition of Done.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, user experience, documentation, and other product teams to execute the Learning product strategy.
  • Leverage market analysis and customer research to define a product roadmap.
  • Engage directly with team members to ensure the product meets their business outcomes.
  • Continuously measure and supervise usage metrics to drive customer adoption and product improvements.
  • Act as a champion to promote and evangelize the product and new features.
  • Build compelling demos for internal and external use.

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience as a Technical Product Owner.
  • Excellent organizational, analytic, and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-technical and functional teams.
  • Experience creating functional requirements/designs, wireframes, product demonstrations, and proof of concepts for new products or features.
  • Professionalism, dedication, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong design instinct and experience working closely with UX to build exceptional user experiences.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage distractions from good ideas to focus on great ideas.
  • Experience in cloud computing or SaaS.
