About the position

AttainX Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager with a strong background in marketing, public relations, or emergency communications to support our federal client based in Washington, DC. This position is remote but requires the ability to commute to Washington, DC for meetings. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project charters, reporting on project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables progress. The role demands discretion and independent judgment regarding significant matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in an agile environment, tracking project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks, performing project risk assessments, and implementing mitigation plans. Monitoring project activities to ensure the currency, quality, and integrity of information is also crucial. The candidate must be comfortable preparing for, attending, and presenting in meetings with high-ranking officers. The Project Manager will direct day-to-day management of contract support operations, which involves multiple tasks and groups of personnel at various locations. Responsibilities include organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and production of all contract support activities. The Project Manager will oversee staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight. Additionally, the role involves developing a strategic Marketing, Public Relations, and Outreach plan to support the CISA's emergency communications and priority telecommunications efforts. The successful candidate will provide support to missions such as Integrated and Collaborative Communications Planning, Priority Telecommunications Services (PTS), and the Emergency Communications Interoperability (ECI) Ambassador program.

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day management of contract support operations involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at various locations.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Responsible for staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight.
  • Develop a strategic Marketing, Public Relations, and Outreach plan to support CISA's emergency communications and priority telecommunications effort.
  • Provide support to Integrated and Collaborative Communications Planning, Priority Telecommunications Services (PTS), and Emergency Communications Interoperability (ECI) Ambassador program.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Master's (MA/MS) degree and ten (10) years of experience with Project Management procedures.
  • Must have experience managing financial goals and multiple program functions.
  • Extensive experience managing relationships with clients and providing quality service to stakeholders and end users.
  • Understanding of marketing, public relations, and outreach.
  • Experience working with Federal Programs is required.
  • Must possess a valid PMP Certification (or equivalent).
  • Must be able to travel to Washington DC for meetings and during emergency response events.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, with the ability to obtain a DHS Moderate Public Trust.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge and understanding of Emergency Communications is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with both new and legacy media.
