About the position

AttainX Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager specializing in Public Relations to support our federal client based in Washington, DC. This position is primarily remote but requires the candidate to commute to Washington, DC for meetings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of project charters, reporting on project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables progress. This role demands a high level of discretion and independent judgment regarding significant matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, public relations, or emergency communications, and must be comfortable preparing for, attending, and presenting in meetings with high-ranking officials. The Project Manager will work in an agile environment, tracking project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks. They will perform project risk assessments and implement mitigation plans while monitoring project activities to ensure the currency, quality, and integrity of information. The candidate must possess a Master's degree and at least ten years of experience in Project Management procedures, along with a valid PMP Certification or equivalent. Experience managing financial goals and multiple program functions is essential, as is the ability to manage relationships with clients and provide quality service to stakeholders and end users. Additionally, the candidate must have experience working with Federal Programs and be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DHS Moderate Public Trust clearance. Knowledge of emergency communications and experience with both new and legacy media are preferred skills for this role.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day management of contract support operations, involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at various locations.
• Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.
• Responsible for staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight.
• Develop a strategic Marketing, Public Relations, and Outreach plan to support CISA's emergency communications.

Requirements

• Must possess a Master's (MA/MS) degree and ten (10) years of experience with Project Management procedures.
• Must have experience managing financial goals as well as multiple program functions.
• Extensive experience managing relationships with clients and providing quality service to stakeholders and end users.
• Understanding of marketing, public relations, and outreach.
• Experience working with Federal Programs is required.
• Must possess a valid PMP Certification (or equivalent).
• Must be able to travel to Washington DC, client office for meetings and during emergency response events.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, with the ability to obtain a DHS Moderate Public Trust.
