About the position

The Project Manager - R&D role at Permobil involves leading cross-functional project teams to successfully execute research and development projects. The position focuses on planning, implementing, and launching advanced assistive solutions for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute projects and programs from concept and scoping to successful completion, including product launches.
• Form project teams, budget, assign and track tasks, and identify and mitigate project risks.
• Support fellow project managers to ensure successful implementation of the development portfolio.
• Report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and steering groups regularly.
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement of processes and development practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of formal project management experience, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
• Experience with various project management software/tools and Microsoft Suite applications.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations.
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Well-versed in Medical Device development.
• Experience with formal design controls in a gated product development process.
• Experience utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
