About the position

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects for new venues across the U.S. This remote position requires a strategic individual with experience in project management within the entertainment or construction industry. The primary focus is to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while collaborating with regional teams to meet operational and production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of construction plans for new builds and adaptive reuse projects, including site selection and regional capital expense projects.
  • Review plans and specifications for suitability of AEG use, ensuring operational flow, site logistics, event safety, and compliance with building and fire codes.
  • Manage relationships between all applicable parties, including local market leadership and operators, to ensure successful project completion.
  • Attend or conduct construction meetings to discuss potential change orders, problems, schedules, budgets, and pending requests.
  • Report, update, and review all projects with AEG Presents and AEG Real Estate leadership.
  • Lead coordination with FF&E vendors to finalize contracts and insurance documents, capture infrastructure needs, and develop budgets.
  • Ensure all warranty issues are resolved post-occupancy and that all contractual obligations are met.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred)
  • 4-6 years of related work experience
  • Experience interfacing with people at all levels and across all functions
  • Experience with all phases of the development process, preferably with at least one project taken from concept through completion
  • Experience working in concert venues as Operational Lead
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam or other architectural review tools
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to read and understand horizontal construction plans, specifications, drawings, and project schedules
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong client and public presentation skills.
