About the position

The Project Manager for Real Estate Telecom Site Acquisition and Property Management will play a crucial role in overseeing various projects related to site acquisition and property management within the telecommunications sector. This position is based in Walnut Creek, California, and is an onsite hybrid role, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project tracking tools and systems that accurately document milestone completions, project issues, jeopardies, and overall project completion. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all objectives are met on time and within budget. In addition to project tracking, the Project Manager will deliver written and oral executive-level reporting, presentations, and communications to management and stakeholders. This includes providing regular updates on project status, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key process-focused objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting goals and effectively managing vendors and projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project lifecycle are handled efficiently. The role also involves creating dashboards and monitoring real estate program data, working closely with the Real Estate Services (RES) team for project delivery. Knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred, as these frameworks will be instrumental in driving project success and continuous improvement. The Project Manager will also be expected to have experience with Tableau for creating charts, projects, and reports, which will aid in visualizing project data and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • PMP Certification or training preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in creating dashboards and monitoring project data using Tableau.
  • Proven track record of meeting project goals and managing vendors effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Real Estate knowledge and background working with specialists and vendors.
  • Financial acumen, including processing purchase orders and reports.
  • Experience in property management and lease renewal.
