About the position

The Project Manager will provide consulting services for financial services client accounts, focusing on retail bank interior refurbishment projects. This role involves managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic business objectives. The position is remote but requires presence along the Florida Atlantic Coast for site visits, with travel expectations of up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified vendor lists or through the project qualification process, conduct requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend vendor resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule, tracking project progress and reporting status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, implementing strategies to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of the job subject area and a broad understanding of several job fields within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements

  • Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Proven experience with large-volume retail bank projects and clients is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with PMWeb project management software is preferred.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts, construction practices, and the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
