About the position

The Project Manager for Retail Bank Projects at CBRE is responsible for leading the Asset Preservation Program (APP) for financial services clients. This role involves managing various small works, ADA upgrades, and infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic business objectives. The position requires a hybrid work model with some travel for site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Conduct standard requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of the job subject area and related fields.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Proven experience with large-volume retail bank projects and clients is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Experience utilizing PMWeb project management software is preferred.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts, construction practices, and the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management software other than PMWeb.
  • Additional certifications in project management or construction management.
