About the position

The Project Manager will provide consulting services for financial services clients, focusing on the retail bank Asset Preservation Program (APP). This role involves managing various small works, ADA upgrades, and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic business objectives. The position is hybrid and requires some travel for site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources and conduct requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule, tracking project progress and reporting status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, implementing strategies to reduce or eliminate risks.
  • Mentor others and share knowledge within the project management function.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Proven experience with large-volume retail bank projects and clients is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with PMWeb project management software is preferred.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts, construction practices, and the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
  • Ability to travel for site visits as required by clients (approximately 20%).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing ADA upgrades and infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software beyond PMWeb.
