Project Manager - Roofing

About the position

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of roofing projects, ensuring successful completion by aligning project details with client and production team needs. This role focuses on both residential and commercial roofing projects, managing the full scope of work to deliver high-quality installations in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and scheduling the project through closing of a roofing job
• Engage with the Project Coordinator on scheduling the internal and external resources for each project
• Define the scope and timeline of the project, managing against this daily
• Guide internal team members and subcontractors to define expectations daily
• Lead the foreman on project specific needs
• Provide accurate budgeting and job costing on each project
• Review and order materials for each roofing project, preparing for accuracy and minimal excess
• Communicate directly with clients and customers, answering questions and sharing updates
• Problem solve daily on the job, finding solutions for on-site team members and customers as needed
• Document any changes and/or change orders identified by the customer or team members, receiving final approval from the client
• Manage final punch list and verify final accuracy of all work completed on the job
• Provide final inspection of projects to complete and 'close out', taking pictures and verifying accurate completion
• Close job by providing all final review of invoice, materials, and documentation to the Project Coordinator and team

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a roofing specific role
• 2+ years' with construction experience
• 2+ years of experience in Project Management
• Experience in AutoCAD/Sketch-Up
• Experience using ProCore and DataForma
• Understanding of multiple roofing systems in both materials and products
• Ability to be hands-on and engage with customers on their projects
• Strong communication skills with internal and external resources
• Understanding of time-management and high attention to detail
• Confidentiality is of utmost importance in this role
• Use and experience with Microsoft Office products and technology
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work as a team
