About the position

The Project Manager - S/4 HANA Implementation at NTT DATA is responsible for leading the development and execution of enterprise application projects, specifically focusing on SAP S/4 HANA implementations. This role involves collaborating with IT leadership and various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will also be tasked with managing project risks, developing project plans, and maintaining detailed budgets while fostering relationships both internally and externally to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Work with IT leadership and ERP/Business Application Managers to realize the enterprise application roadmap.
• Develop project plans and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Lead the development and implementation of coordinated plans and programs to meet organizational goals.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Assist in establishing realistic timelines and goals for project deliverables.
• Demonstrate superior collaboration skills to define alternate solutions and resolve conflicts.
• Work with Organizational Change Management to drive change for project success.
• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets.
• Follow standard project methodology frameworks to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Manage project status, risks, and issues with appropriate escalation mechanisms.
• Proactively develop and implement strategies to mitigate project risks.
• Cultivate relationships and a network both inside and outside of EnerSys.
• Conduct follow-up meetings with stakeholders and team members to improve project management processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of in-depth experience in SAP S/4 HANA and/or SAP ECC across configuration, implementation, and project management domains.
• Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementations for a large enterprise in a manufacturing organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong IT Application Project Management skills.
• PMI or equivalent certification/relevant experience preferred.
• Solid analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Experience structuring frameworks/approaches to complex problem-solving in LEAN processes.
• Experience working in large, complex, fast-paced organizations.
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince II.
• Experience with other Project Management tools.
