About the position

The Project Manager/Scrum Master role within the Global Booking Orchestration Department involves overseeing the development and production support of consumer websites and mobile applications for the client’s brands. The position requires collaboration with product owners, engineers, and business analysts to implement new features and solutions while ensuring project deliverables are met in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes accountability, communication, and effective project management practices to drive team performance and project success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product owners to implement new features for consumer booking channels.
  • Work with engineers, business analysts, and managers to provide recommendations for new solutions.
  • Drive team and tasks forward, ensuring accountability for delivery.
  • Remove or escalate roadblocks faced by team members.
  • Manage content for sprints and monthly releases, ensuring timely completion of stories.
  • Communicate feedback on team members' progress to leadership.
  • Plan and coordinate project deliverables and timelines, creating and maintaining project plans as necessary.
  • Assess project status and make recommendations if deadlines are at risk.
  • Raise recommendations to leadership for final decisions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related Information Technology experience.
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience in full lifecycle development cycle.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Flexibility with changing priorities and requirements.
  • Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Task management abilities to identify necessary steps to solutions.
  • Professional communication abilities for formalizing proposals and instructing others.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and Visio.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
